Harmon School was founded by Mark and Katie Boehme — a husband and wife team united by a shared mission to give students with dyslexia and ADHD the education they deserve.
We believe intelligence is not defined by speed, compliance, or test performance — but by curiosity, perseverance, and growth. As parents and educators, we created the school we wished existed for our own children and students.

Mark was diagnosed with dyslexia in first grade and knows firsthand what it feels like to struggle in a system not built for you. His journey led him to Landmark College, then to degrees in Math, Physics, and Sociology — and ultimately to over a decade of teaching from elementary through university level, specializing in executive functioning coaching.
Katie Boehme

Katie earned her CALP certification through the Rawson Saunders Institute and has spent six years providing Dyslexia Therapy using the Neuhaus BLS and Reading Readiness curricula. She brings deep experience in Special Education, IEP writing, and advocating for families navigating complex school systems.
